| ROD CHAPPEL: COMBAT BOWIE, 9
1/2" double hollow ground fighter style blade, 5 3/4" wide stainless steel
double lugged guard and pommel, brown linen micarta handle with black micarta and
stainless steel spacers, double edge, 440C, mirror finish, thong hole. This knife
comes with a custom leather sheath. This knife was made in 1979 when Rod worked in his uncle's shop. This is a very early Chappel. The fact it does not have a serial number on it may indicate it was the prototype for this knife. A true collectors piece for the Chappel aficionado's. PRICE: $2,600.00 |

| ROD CHAPPEL: NIGHT RAVEN PROTOTYPE, 5
3/4" double hollow ground dagger style blade, integral double guard (3"
across) with a "blood groove" down the center of the blade, the handle has a
groove going down the center and consists of stacked spacers of black micarta, white
micarta and red micarta, double edge, 440C, mirror finish, thong hole. This knife
features 3/8" stock. This knife does not have a sheath. This is the Night Raven Prototype. This is also what Rod calls one of his "Christmas Knives. He makes the knife on December 24th. He makes one "Christmas Knife" every year. This knife is dated, December 24 1983 |
